Back to School Nails

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday! As many of you already know, school has started! I do not go back to school until Monday and I am enjoying my final days of summer to the max. I wanted to do Back to School nails because I think it is a really cute idea.

This is the final nail design. I did not wait long enough for the polish to dry on 2 and 3 so when I put the top coat on the nails the polish blended a little bit.

I labeled each nail to keep track. 1 is a piece of notebook paper, 2 is a pencil, 3 is a purple crayon, and 4 is an apple (of course!)

UPDATE: The Test of Time

Hello everyone! Today is the update of last Wednesday’s post. I’m actually a little surprised at the results. Don’t be afraid to drop a comment about what you think. I have done more activity in the last week than I have in the whole summer, surprisingly. I went swimming twice, which I was worried that it could effect the results of my test of time, but if anything I think that it could make the results better. After all, most people spend a lot of time in the pool and going out and about!

The Test of Time

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today we’re going to do something a tad bit different. I have always wondered if going through the long process of gel nail polish is really worth it. I decided to try 5 different top coats and base coat combinations. The next two Wednesday’s I’ll update y’all on the status of how the nail polishes are holding up.
